Everyone has a couple of empty glass jars sitting in the pantry...
so if your feeling crafty dust off those glass jars,
-find some nice ribbon
-some wire
and a glue gun
to create some lovely lanterns...
empty glass jars
wind your ribbon around your wire handle (use the glue gun at the beginning and a few stops along the way)
see one of the finished handles below
then wind wire around the rim to hold it in place
walah! lovely outdoor lanterns!!
craft out!

Gorgeous, I've seen some with tissue paper around them, or paint, it gives the light some lovely colours... and larger candles mean you don't have to replace them as often, especially if you're going to hang them around for a BBQ. Great tutorial - thanks!
