Day 101-wrapping paper ruins to pretty paper mobile

Tonight I have upcycled a material that we have all regrettably thrown away at some point..."wrapping paper"
we have all received a gift wrapped in stunning paper and then felt really bad as we scrunched it up and threw it in the garbage

here is some paper from my birthday gift from my beautiful friend elisha
the design is almost like wall paper
draw a love heart shape and use this as a template to trace all the other hearts
cut pairs (make sure each pair has one heart cut out of a thicker cardboard)
place the thicker cardboard heart on the bottom, place a ribbon down the centre and stitch along the ribbon
space out each heart approx 10cm apart
the mobile casts beautiful shadows on the wall
you could make a few of these and join them all together on a branch to create a baby mobile

craft out hearty crafters

Very cute idea, what a great way to use all the left over wrapping paper to get creative for holiday seasons, also a good idea for any wrapping paper received.

This is very cute. I may be borrowing this idea in the future if you don't mind!

I agree with the others, this is a great use of wrapping! Will be good to keep in mind for future birthdays and xmas.
